I have extensive experience covering cleantech, sustainability and green issues for a business audience. Currently, I am the Special Projects Editor at the GigaOM Network, where I oversee content for GigaOM Pro, the network’s research and analysis service. Occasionally, I curate the Green IT topic area for GigaOM Pro and contribute articles to Earth2Tech and other network sites. Previously, I was the managing editor of Sustainable Industries magazine and an associate editor at the now-defunct utility news and analysis site NWCurrent.com. My work has also been published online by BusinessWeek and the New York Times, as well as in several other business and consumer publications. Previously, I was a research consultant for Ecotrust.
As an editor, I like to think of my work as the salt in a writer’s recipe. Good, measured editing can add depth and bring out the best, the flavor, in an article. Too much editing will overpower it.
As a writer, my job is to craft articles with enough flavor that they require just a pinch of salt from an editor.
Think we could make something tasty together?
